Medal Presentation Showcase
Saturday 22nd November 2008
at The Magna Carta Arts Centre
Rehearsal from 4.00pm to 5.30pm
Performance Showtime 5.30pm to 7.15pm Approx.
7.15pm to 8.00pm Open Evening
This is a fantastic opportunity to see what SimplyDance offers to it's students, both children and adults. For all our pupils, children and adults tit's a chance to perform their dancing in a wonderful Show environment demonstrating what they have learnt in their classes and private lessons.
Pupils who were sucessful in the October
exams will receive their medals and certificates during the show from the
Principal James and a few may also receive one of our SimplyDance Awards, from our Cheif Instructor Chris.
Tickets are on sale now from our classes and are selling fast at the following prices:
Adults (17 years +) £5.00
Children (3 to 16 years) £3.00
Infants (Under 3 years) FREE (but still must have a ticket for seating purposes)

IDTA Exam RESULTS
We are happy to announce that all candidates that took examinations passed. The pupils danced wonderfully on the day with 100% effort, congratulations everyone. Of the Graded exams this time, the school received;
Fail (Unsuccessful) 0%
Pass (Satisfactory) 2%
Commended (Good) 44%
Highly Commended (Very Good) 46%
Honours (Excellent) 9%
Well done to all of our pupils, children and adult alike. We now look forward to our Medal Presentation Showcase on Saturday 22nd November 08.

After the sucess of the theatre format for our performance last time, and after sorting out some initial logistical problems we were eagar to utilise this wonderful theatre for our latest Medal Presentaion Show. This was an opportunity for all our pupils, children and adults to show what they have learnt in their classes and private lessons. For family and friends it was a chance to see those moves that have no doubt been practiced in the kitchen out on stage with lighting and that show atmosphere.

Social Dance Night
Saturday 19th May 2007
SimplyDance was proud to hold it's very first Latin American and Ballroom Social Night on Saturday 19th May 2007. The evening was a spectacular success with dancers of all levels from complete beginner to advanced swinging and swaying the night away at the wonderful Hythe Centre in Egham, Surrey (See Venues).
The doors were flung open at 8pm to just under 100 eager dancers. We opted to run a 'bring a bottle' system for those people who felt like a tipple and had our refreshments bar selling mixers and non-alcoholic drinks. The dress code for this magical evening was Handbags and Gladrags, which you can see in our photo gallery.
The evening went very smoothly with the SimplyDance's Staff Caberet thrilling the audience fully. The evening managed to raise £300 in our raffle for the Shooting Star Children's Hospice, a fantastic piece of work. Thank you to all who donated and contributed to the Raffle and the evening itself.
We are loking forward to running another Social Dance Night in the Autumn followed hopefully by 4 throughout next year.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you dancing the night away soon
