at The Magna Carta Arts Centre
Rehearsal from 4.00pm to 5.30pm
Performance Showtime 5.30pm to 7.15pm Approx.
7.15pm to 8.00pm Open Evening
After the sucess of the theatre format for our performance last time, and after sorting out some initial logistical problems we were eagar to utilise this wonderful theatre for our latest Medal Presentaion Show. This was an opportunity for all our pupils, children and adults to show what they have learnt in their classes and private lessons. For family and friends it was a chance to see those moves that have no doubt been practiced in the kitchen out on stage with lighting and that show atmosphere.
Pupils who were sucessful in the May exams received their medals and certificates during the show from the Principal James and a few also received one of our SimplyDance Awards, presented by our Cheif Instructor Chris.
Parent's Review: SimplyDance Medal Presentation Show 14-June-08
"OUTSTANDING!! Even Rhia
nnon's daddy who normally makes a fuss about
going to see dance shows enjoyed it. His comments were shared by all of
us, the kids look relaxed, confident and happy, the teachers' energy is
infectious and it certainly brings out the best in everyone. All 6 of
us loved it even baby Rhys who was happy the whole time, and spellbound
by the music and lights... you're never too young for the theatre i
guess!! WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
